Week One -Half Marathon Training

Yesterday – ran 4 miles outside. It was not fun.

Today- ran 4.05 miles on the treadmill. I forgot how easy it is to egg yourself on on a treadmill. I ended up doing it in 38:37– so less of the ‘taking it easy’ than I had planned considering I started out running 10:20 miles.

Tomorrow: 4 more miles.

  2. You absolutely are. But I needed to run 4 times this week, and it worked out most easily to do Tues, Weds, Thurs, Sat. Hopefully next week I’ll do a little better with the appropriate rest days.

  5. I feel like a beast right now. Three 4 mile runs in 3 days. Ug. Bart Yasso is an unforgiving task master! http://www.bartyasso.com/ If anyone is interested in this demonic training plan, I could I send it to them. Alternately I have a “rookie” training plan that I’m sort of using as well.
